Would it be possible to get a character sheet for Delta Green? The new rule-set has just recently been funded through a kickstarter, but it has a very loyal fan following, built over the past 20 years and I, for one, am itching to start playing using roll20 asap.eager eager eager.
I'm hoping that its compatibility with Call of Cthulhu should facilitate matters, but there's some die-rolling functionalities that separate the two. Here is the ruleset.
Here's the charactersheet (pages 7 and 8). And here is the kickstarter.
Said: Roby said: How do we get custom sheets done? Through the Roll20 Dev team or can individuals make them? I can pay (if reasonable) if through individuals. Individuals can do them. There's a github repository for it and most of this subforum also discusses how to do it. Depending on the system you want, I might be willing to do it in exchange for a pro subscription (which would help make them anyways).
I to am willing to pay to have a sheet done but what are you looking for a year subscription for one sheet? Personally I really wish roll20 would implement a character sheet creation system. If there is one thing that I learned turns people off of VTT is when you go to play a game and the game you want is not supported.
I am sorry but for the average person 'you but you have to type your character in' or 'yes but you can code your own' is not a real answer. If I could find a VTT that handled a simple system for making character sheets (like by using ajax or something) I would be happy. Said: Epsilon R. Said: Roby said: How do we get custom sheets done? I'm only asking for a few months, but I'd rather only do requests one at a time, that way I can make sure I do them well.
Coal Powered Puppet said: I had a nice, much longer post, but.after all of that, this is a thread for requesting sheets, not discussing Roll20's system design. To talk further on that subject, start a new thread- or if this topic is already being discussed, continue a thread- in other sections of the forum. For what game system where you looking for? I'll add it to the list. There are several sheet authors out there, and some one might pick it up. Yeah sorry for going on a little rant there. The sheet I am looking for is already on the list, Through The Breach.
But like I said if any author wants to pick it up I am willing to pay a little bit. They can pm me and we can work out a deal.
Hey, I would like to request a BESM 2nd edition character sheet. However seeing as there is an extremely long list I don't think it would be able to happen anytime soon. I tried looking into tutorials on how to make HTML sheets myself but I'm having a hard time making heads or tails of the whole thing. I have a game I wanted to try and run this Sunday that would use this sheet but again I know with the large list that would be a bit unfair to expect. Therefor while waiting for whenever this sheet can be made I had a question.
Does anyone on here know of an easy way to upload Notepad character sheets onto roll20? I have all the sheets I need currently on Notepad but I haven't been able to find a way to put them in the game. I would Like to request a sheet for Shattered ( I can provide ready made form fill.pdf documents, as well as blank.pdf's of the same sheets) unfortunately I am coding illiterate and am unable to justify the full cost of a pro account (even for a month) to try my hand at failing sheet creation. They don't have to be anything fancy, more or less simple character input fields and a couple auto-calculating fields. pleas PM or DM me if you are interested in fielding this request, I am willing to negotiate.I was reading in another (or earlier) thread that auto-calculating fields are either an extreme pain or not possible due to the language used to make the sheets, if this is the case then so be it. I have yet to be killed by doing math.
I was curious what rates a sheet author would charge if I wanted a character sheet created for my own RPG. I have about 6 other artists/programmers I've been working with and they have been paid for every project they have completed. I can provide references if you'd like. Requirements Feature rich/complete Free to use by all roll20 members Based on a design of my own with my own artwork and distributed under the Open Gaming License Sheet author must be able to create the sheet from my mock up.
PSD files and whatnot can be provided. Attributes which can easily be used with macros and token abilities Follow my coding standards and check the project in to my github repository as an open source project (also to the Roll20 repo and we'll follow their pull request guidelines) Able to deliver the project within a deadline and a history of past projects (portfolio) All of my contractors sign a contract for the project and retain creative rights to all work they create. If you're interested you can send me an IM and we can go from there. I expect my mock up will be complete within a month. I have no idea, honestly. Getting paid sounds awesome, but I've had people donate to roll20 instead of paying me. One fella/gal/artificial intelligence/alien hacker already paid for a month of my pro account.
Other folks might be interested in earning money from you, and I encourage both you and them to pursue that direction. But for me, I have college, farm work, and women to chase, so I have little time to work under some one else's requirements. After I am done with the two/three projects I am working on, I could be willing to work with you on something, if you still haven't found anyone. Reikou said: I gotta hand it to the people making these sheets for us users.
It's not easy. XD No kidding.
But it is really rewarding when people say how much they like it. Reikou said: I've been working on an Alternity sheet, it's getting close to completion, then I'll have to figure out github.: I'm hopeful I'll have the sheet ready before the weekend, we'll see.:) If you are having a real problem with Github, let me know. I can push it forward if you want (all credit still goes to you). I can't really explain how Github works or what I do to get it to work; the best way I can describe it is keep fiddling with it until something happens.
Hopefully it is something useful. (some one showed me this, I forget who).
